Awards
There are distinguished few who deserve additional recognition for demonstrating and even exceeding in their preparation, thinking, speaking, and presentation capabilities, and ability to bring out the best in them and others, all of which are the qualities we wish to see within each delegate. The awards that will be distributed at RAMSMUN are as follows: Best Delegation, Outstanding Delegation, Honorable Mention, Verbal Commendation, Best Position Paper
Plagiarism
Any plagiarism in any form, which includes but is not limited to position papers and working papers + directives, will result in the disqualification of the delegate. All pre-written legislations are also prohibited, and the same consequences will apply if discovered. This includes full or partial working papers + directives, but delegates are allowed to work outside the conference after the first committee session. Opening speeches may be drafted prior to the conference.
Technology
Using any technology during the conference outside of your chair's discretion is strictly forbidden and may impact your ability to receive awards. Cell phones are not required to be turned off, but it is highly suggested, and it is mandatory that cellphones are kept away (ie. in one's backpack).
Behavior
All delegates are required to act in a professional manner throughout the entire duration of RAMSMUN VI. Given that this is a school club-sponsored event, all delegates are expected to demonstrate the behavior listed under school guidelines. Diplomacy is a vital component of MUN and is not to be forgotten. Failure to comply with this policy will either result in the delegate's expulsion from the remainder of the conference or disqualification from awards.
Dress Code
All delegates are expected to wear Western Business Attire throughout the entire duration of RAMSMUN unless specific exceptions are stated in the background guide of your committee. Be ready to look your best!
